How Meyer Turns Long-Term Creator Partnerships Into Full-Funnel Growth with Aspire
Cookware is a patient category. People buy a set on average once every 5 years, and plenty of shoppers hold onto the one they got for their wedding registry for decades. That long consideration window shapes how Caroline approaches creator marketing.
Scale made the challenge bigger. Caroline manages a lean program across 5 brands: Anolon, Circulon, Farberware, KitchenAid, and Rachael Ray. "Managing influencer marketing for 5 brands has been really interesting, because they all have very distinct brand identities, products, and audiences," she says.
To make a dent in that kind of range, Caroline needed to find exactly the right creator for each brand, and build partnerships durable enough to earn trust in a category where the purchase decision can take years.
Caroline built a partnership model that pairs long-term brand ambassadors with selective one-off tests. To power this strategy, she runs the whole program through Aspire, which she moved to earlier this year after cycling through 5 different influencer and affiliate platforms.
Playing the long game
The heart of Caroline's strategy is her belief in long-term relationships. She looks for creators who can weave a brand into their life naturally over 3-12 months, sharing recipes and cooking to show the product in context.
"People see that in their content naturally, and they start to trust the creator and trust the cookware," she explains. "So when the time comes, when they see an ad we're running or an exclusive link on their story, they already know the brand, and they're more likely to convert."
There’s a competitive benefit too. In a category full of visually distinctive brands, a creator suddenly switching to a competitor is jarring to loyal followers, so long-term partnerships act as a protective layer.
Casting the right creator for 5 brands
With 5 brands that each have a distinct identity and audience, generic search does not cut it. Caroline can't just type in "cooking creator."
Instead, she uses Aspire's AI Creator Search to translate that clear mental image into quick results, describing exactly who she needs down to content style, follower count, and engagement rate.
But the numbers are only part of the picture. She weighs a creator's aesthetic and authenticity just as heavily, and she checks what they’re already cooking with before reaching out. For example, she doesn’t approach someone for a stainless steel campaign if they already love cooking on nonstick, because the partnership has to be authentic to the content they are already creating.
To find future ambassadors, Caroline runs low-risk test partnerships first, usually a one-off video with 30 days each of organic and paid usage rights. By doing so, she can learn a creator's strengths before committing. Strong organic performance does not always translate to paid, so the test run tells her where a creator will shine.
Turning ambassadors into advocates
Once she finds the right creators, Caroline contracts them for 3 to 6 months at a time, asking each ambassador to create a variety of deliverables on a regular basis. Ambassadors cook exclusively with Meyer brands throughout, film custom hooks on request, and provide recipes and testimonials the team reposts across owned channels.
But her real edge is how she invests in the relationship. She sends ambassadors flowers for their birthdays and care packages when they are going through something hard. "I think it's important that you both have a really strong relationship, so they'll continue advocating for you, and you're really tapping into their community," she says.
That care is what turns a paid partner into a genuine advocate, and it’s why she can easily renew the strongest relationships year after year. She extends the same approach to her growing affiliate program, inviting gifted creators and past partners to keep sharing links long after a campaign ends.
Making one partnership work across every channel
Caroline is meticulous about getting mileage out of every partnership. Ambassador content does not stop at the creator's organic feed. She repurposes it across:
- Paid social: She whitelists ads directly from creators' handles so they show up native in the feed.
- Email and SMS: Testimonials and recipe links add third-party credibility to promotional sends, because people trust people more than they trust brands.
- Website: Creators' recipes live on the brand sites to drive ongoing search traffic, and their names and likenesses appear across Meyer's owned channels.
Meyer’s partnership with Circulon ambassador @minoomakesstuff, now going on two years, shows how far a single relationship can stretch. Her content performs across both organic and paid and spans Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat. Her "Dr. Pepper from scratch" video pulled in over 1,000,000 views on Facebook and 55,000 on Snapchat, and drove a 3.17x ROAS on paid. Meyer added her recipe to the Circulon site and features her testimonial in email, so one creator ends up showing up almost everywhere the brand does.
Caroline's long-term strategy is proving out across the funnel. She tracks primarily top-of-funnel metrics, impressions, reach, engagement, and CPM, because her job is to help people discover the brands and move through a long consideration journey. But she’s thoughtful about proving value where conversions rarely happen on the spot.
"It's important to see the numbers, but it's also important to see the content," she says. Every month she shares reporting that lets her brand teams watch the actual videos alongside the stats, and she separates performance by effort so she can explain what is driving month-to-month movement.
She sees the payoff in how people shop now. "People are very intentional about where they spend their money, and they want to feel validated. They're using social channels as their new form of search, so having our videos visible can validate that decision for them."
Key results:
- 20+ hours saved per week, freeing a lean team to focus on relationships
- 250+ creators activated across paid partnerships, seeding, and affiliate
- CPM as low as $1 on long-term ambassador content, averaging $10 to $25
- +15% average email click-through rate when ambassador content is featured
- 2x CTR and video view rate on whitelisted content from one Anolon ambassador
"As a small team supporting multiple brands, we rely on every efficiency we can find while still staying high-touch and keeping relationships at the center of what we do. Aspire has helped us find more creators, streamline our content creation, and surface opportunities we hadn't tapped into before. As the platform keeps evolving, especially into TikTok Shop, we're excited to keep growing with it." - Caroline Miller, Associate Digital Marketing Manager, Meyer
